Nové počítače splňují požadavky náročných a zkušených hráčů. Využívají technologie poslední generace, mají vynikající výkon a navíc skříň (i celá sestava) má originální design.
Nový počítač zaujme metalickou skříní měděné barvy, jejíž předek lze zvednout a tak získat přístup k DVD vypalovačce a čtečce Blu-ray. Porty USB a audio spolu s víceformátovou čtečkou paměťových karet jsou snadno přístupné na horní ploše a jejich činnost je indikována LED na přední části Predatora. Velkou předností je snadný přístup k pevným diskům speciálními dvířky vpředu dole. Díky řešení Acer Easy-swap může uživatel měnit 4 velkokapacitní pevné disky Serial ATA 3Gbit/s i za provozu a počítač je také možno snadno a rychle upgradovat a rozšiřovat. K dispozici jsou kupříkladu volitelné vysokorychlostní pevné disky Raptor s rychlostí 10 000 ot./min., mají výjimečný výkon a lze je použít v konfiguraci RAID 0. Bezpečnost dat i v případě selhání disků zaručují režimy RAID 0, 1, 5, 1+0 s podporou technologie NVIDIA MediaShield Storage.
Společnost Acer vybavila počítače Predator chladicím kapalinovým systémem procesoru, který zaručuje jeho správnou funkci a stabilitu systému bez přehřívání a poklesu výkonu, a to i po přetaktování na maximální výkon. Tento progresivní chladicí systém je navržen pro nepřetržitý provoz v délce 5,7 let bez selhání čerpadla nebo odpaření chladiva.
Aspire Predator je dodáván se snadno přetaktovatelným čtyřjádrovým procesorem Intel Core2 Extreme a 1333 MHz hlavní sběrnicí. S utilitou nTune lze zcela jednoduše přetaktovat procesor, operační paměť i grafické karty bez nutnosti restartovat počítač po každé změně nastavení. Navíc čipset NVIDIA nForce 780i SLI MCP a základní deska s podporou tří grafických karet SLI umožňují použít nejvýkonnější grafické karty 2× G9600GT, 2× G9800GTX, 2× GTX260/280, ale i 2× G9800GX2 (4× grafický procesor) v závislosti na konfiguraci.
Stolní počítače Aspire PREDATOR jsou dodávány s nezbytným příslušenstvím včetně například multimediální herní klávesnice s osvětlenými klávesami, se kterou je možné hrát i v šeru, herní myši, se zvukovou technologií Dolby Home Theater a podporou EAX4.0 pro dokonalý zvukový zážitek ze hry.
